American Intercon School is a Khmer general education school that provides high quality of education, disciplines and good services. The school has comfortable learning environment, classrooms are attractive and well equipped with variety of modern teaching materials, and teachers are experienced and very professional. Young children will gain basic knowledge and skills to quickly adapt to the learning environment from the first day of school, apply it in their daily lives and will be able to interact morally with the surroundings. Studying at American Intercon School, students gain not only general knowledge in Khmer, but they are also taught subjects such as English, computer, music, dance, art, and many kinds of sports and skills to adapt well in daily life. All students have opportunities to show their talents, creativities, skills and knowledge to compete in various school competitions, as well as in many events arranged by other institutions. At American Intercon School, students will certainly get four core traits: knowledge, know-how, morality, and harmony. Welcome to American Intercon School, a recognized private educational institution for excellence, discipline, and service.
In this 21st century full of advances in technology, innovation and coexistence, digital technology has made rapid progress in all areas, requiring adequate training of human resources to sustain this development and meet the needs of quality of work, living together, sharing and helping each other with integrity. American Intercon School has been involved in training human resources from kindergarten to 12th grade, strengthening the skills needed as in the mentioned cases above. The main vision and mission of the school are to participate in developing human resources and education in Cambodia. All campuses of American Intercon School adhere to the same standard, which is recognized both nationally and internationally.

On behalf of American Intercon School, I would like to thank parents or guardians for supporting and choosing American Intercon School as an education provider for your children. American Intercon School, with a clear vision of “Quality, Services and Discipline”, provides the students from all backgrounds the high quality and effective education. In addition, all students will gain new experiences from the school, including knowledge, know-how and ethical living.
American Intercon School has taken an education mission in the right direction, following the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and government policy on poverty reduction.
The School promotes and encourages students at all levels to do research online and in the library. Not only to educate the students with true knowledge and ethics, but school also educate them to share and be responsible and qualified people when they go to the universities and society.

PRINCIPAL FOR PRESCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN AND ELEMENTARY
Mr. Sokeng Leng
Mr. Sokeng Leng was born in 1984. He obtained a Certificate in Pedagogy in 2003 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Build Bright University in 2008, and in 2011 he obtained a Master degree of Education at Norton University. He joined the American Intercon School on July 1, 2015 as Assistant Principal for Elementary.
Based on his qualifications, he was promoted to a Principal for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Elementary on March 01, 2017. Before working for American Intercon School, he was a math teacher at Hun Sen Koh Thom High School from 2003 to 2010, and was a Vice Director of Kindergarten and Elementary at New World School from 2010 to 2015.
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL FOR PRESCHOOL, KINDERGARTEN AND ELEMENTARY
Mrs. NARIN RONG
Mrs. Rong Narin was born in 1983. She obtained a Certificated in Pedagogy in 2003 and a bachelor’s Degree in Education from Build Bright University in 2009. She joined the American Intercon School on October 21, 2019 as an Elementary teacher.
Before working for American Intercon School, she was a teacher at Royeab Primary School in Kampong Speu Province from 2003 to 2005. From 2008 to 2010, she worked work as a teacher at Cambodia-Australia School. After that, she worked as a teacher at New World School for six years. She moved to teach at Milky Way School from 2016 to 2019.
Based on her experiences hard work and strong commitment, she was promoted to an Assistant Principal for Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary on January 01, 2023.
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL
Mr. Vibol Taing
Mr. Vibol Taing received a Bachelor of Art in History from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in 2003. From 2003 to 2004, he pursued Teacher Training at National Institute of Education (NIE). He got a Certificate of Teacher with High Education Degree in History-Geography. On October 1, 2004 till 2011, he was a history and geography teacher at high school in Battambang Province. And then he moved to Phnom Penh. He started working at American Intercon School, Phsar Thmey Campus as a part-time teacher of Geography on October 15, 2019. He became a half full time staff after working for a short period of time.
Because of his strong commitment and over three years of hard work, he was promoted to Assistant Principal for Junior High School and High School on February 01, 2023 at American Intercon School, Choam Chao Campus.Greeting to ladies and gentlemen, students! Deputy Head Teacher of ESL Program
Mr. Dara In
Mr. Dara In was born on March 20, 1986 in Battambang Province, Cambodia. In 2008, he finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Education in English from Human Resource University. From 2005 to 2019, he got a job as a part-time and full-time teacher of English in some private schools. Later on, he joined American Intercon School as a full-time teacher of English on June 3, 2019.
He was promoted to Deputy Head of ESL Teacher on October 1, 2022, to facilitate English language programs for preschool to high school in the Khmer General Education Program at American Intercon School due to his competence and dedication to his work.
HEAD OF COMPUTER TEACHER
Mr. Veasna Kheang
Mr. Veasna Kheang graduated from National University of Management, majoring in information Technology Management in 2005. He earned his Master Degree of Development Studies from Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2015. He started working for Mengly J. Quach Education on September 19, 2015 as a Computer Head Teacher of American Intercon School, who oversees the computer curriculum from Elementary to High School in Khmer General Education Program. Before he joined Mengly J. Quach Education, he has worked for an NGO.
The purpose of the computer curriculum is to enable students to gain advanced knowledge of technology, especially information technology, which is widely used in various fields and everyday work. Considering this critical need, American Intercon School has developed a computerized training program to provide students with real knowledge and computer skills and ability to successfully fulfill their tasks in the future.
Deputy Head of AIS Administration Department
Marina Uk
My name is Marina Uk, Deputy Head of AIS Administration Department. AIS Administration Department contributes to the general services and the needs of learning and teaching. In addition, AIS Administration Department is responsible for preparing all students’ documents and other documents of the school for the Department of Education, Youth and Sports, Phnom Penh. American Intercon School is a school officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports by Prakas No. 1910,dated November 27, 2006 and 458,dated March 27, 2007. For nine years working in the school, I have noticed that the school has a clear and diverse curriculum ranging from pre-school to high school in Khmer-American standard. Over 17 years, the American Intercon School has built the strong foundation in the education sector in Phnom Penh and becomes the first school to feature the quality, discipline and service. School Committee recruits experienced teachers. Classrooms are equipped with modern materials, large libraries, competitions, charity activities and more programs to enhance the students’ learning with real knowledge. Head of School Counselor
Mrs. Sreytouch Loun
Mrs. Sreytouch Loun graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2010. She worked as a Program Coordinator from December 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012 at Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC) focuses on counseling young people in the community, such as the disadvantages of dropping out from school at a young age, physical and mental health careLiving with hygiene, dressing, eating, family planning and reproductive health.From December 17, 2012 to May 31, 2015, she moved to work as a program officer at the Cambodia Volunteer Foundation facilitating foreign volunteers who volunteer to help organizations in Cambodia, such as teaching English, babysitting, and counseling.
Mrs. Sreytouch Loun started working at American Intercon School on June 2, 2015 as a School Counselor. She has actively shared learning strategies, disciplinary, and ethical approaches to students who are currently studying at the American Intercon School to achieve quality, discipline, and ethics. Not only that, she has played an important role as a psychologist in facilitating and counseling mental health issues to students and the team work.
Because of her strong commitment and 6 years of hard work, she was promoted to Head of School Counselor on October 1, 2021, overseeing and cooperating with the school counselors from the six campuses. The school sincerely appreciates her dedication and hard work to the success of the school to this day.
ATHLETICS DIRECTOR AND HEAD OF DISCIPLINARY
Mr. Pich Sem
Mr. Pich Sem is a patient person who enjoys sports, especially soccer. He graduated from the College of Sports and Physical Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in English at the University of Human Resources. He is currently the Athletics Director of Aii Language Center and American Intercon School, both of which strongly supported by students, parents, and guardians in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
He has been involved in soccer at the very young age, and he used to be a national soccer player. On October 1, 2001, he became a physical education and sports teacher at Chea Sim Beung Keng Kong High School in Phnom Penh.
On March 10, 2007, he worked as a soccer coach (part-time) at American Intercon School. Then in 2008, he changed his position as a disciplinarian and sport teacher, and in 2009 he was promoted to Athletics Director.
Based on his hard work and strong commitment for nine-year for the American Intercon School, he was promoted to the Athletics Director and Head of Disciplinary in 2010.
Administration Supervisor
Mr. Sras Sam
Mr. Sras Sam was born in October 10 1983 in Takeo Province.
He graduated with a Master of English Language at Phahna Cheit University in 2017.
He had worked at Aii Language Center and American Intercon School as Administration Supervisor on December 03, 2018.
After working at (Head Office) for a while, he was transferred to Choam Chao Campus, which has the role of Administration Supervisor, in charge of managing the administrative process from February 10, 2019 to operate and provide services to students and Guardian for AII Language Center and American Intercontinental School, Choam Chao Campus.
As the Administration Supervisor, he worked hard to take care of and fulfill his duties as the Administration Supervisor and charged and managed the offices under the Administration Department, which played an important role in providing excellent services to students and parents. And kept in the three mottos (discipline, quality and service) for Choam Chao Campus until now.
Security and Janitor Supervisor
Mr. Sal Lorn
Mr. Sal Lorn was born in 1992 in Phnom Penh. He started working as a security in one private company in Phnom Penh in early 2010.
She started working at Aii Language Center and American Intercon School as security in late 2010. Because of his hard-working and commitment for 4 years, he has been promoted to Security and Janitor Supervisor at Aii Language Center and American Intercon School, Choam Chao Campus on January 01, 2019.
